Firehouse is looking for 100 aspiring firefighters to serve as ambassadors at Firehouse World 2018 in March in exchange for a complimentary full conference pass and multiple networking opportunities.
Those interested in becoming Firehouse Ambassadors will be required to volunteer a minimum of 16 hours. Duties include supporting logistics, serving as classroom monitors and instructor liaisons.
The March 4-8 event takes place at the San Diego Convention Center.
"Becoming a Firehouse Ambassador opens doors for aspiring future firefighters," Firehouse Editor-in-Chief and Conference Director Tim Sendelbach said. "They can learn from the best instructors and network with other students and those who have already received the badge."
In addition to the conference pass, ambassadors will receive free access to the exhibit hall, a one-year e-subscription to Firehouse Magazine, attire and the chance to meet and interact with active firefighters and chief officers.
