STOCKHOLM, Sweden (AP) -- A Swedish union that includes firefighters has raised $31,000 for U.S. firefighters who were injured or the relatives of those who were killed in the Sept. 11 attack on New York.

The 600,000-member Swedish Municipal Workers' Union will make the donation during a Jan. 28 ceremony along with the International Association of Firefighers in Washington.
