More Heroes' Remains Found

The remains of two more firefighters were recovered yesterday at Ground Zero.

The Fire Department has identified the remains of 156 firefighters killed at the World Trade Center in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, which claimed the lives of 343 firefighters.

An honor guard of firefighters carried the American flag-draped remains of their two comrades up a steel ramp into waiting ambulances for the trip to the morgue, where DNA tests will be conducted to identify them.

The pace of recovery of remains has accelerated in March as crews reach the bottom of debris piles from the collapsed Twin Towers.
