The United States Fire Administration has reported the deaths of two U.S. Firefighters.

Daniel O'Connel, 58, of the Putnam Lake, FD in Patterson, NY died today after collapsing at a structure fire on January 14. Funeral and further info online here.

On Jan. 21, Fire Supression Technician Victor Castillo, 43, of the El Paso, TX Fire Department died from injuries he sustained in a training session on May 7, 1998. His funeral was today. Read about his story on MSNBC Online.
