Baltimore City Firefighters Injured in 2-Alarm Blaze

The southwest Baltimore building suffered a partial collapse while crews battled the fire that injured two city firefighters.

Two Baltimore City firefighters were injured while fighting a fire in Southwest Baltimore on Monday.

The Baltimore City Fire Department wrote on Twitter that the department responded to the scene of a two-alarm fire in the 800 block of Desoto Road in the Gwynns Falls neighborhood.

Two firefighters who reported to the scene suffered non-life-threatening injuries, the department wrote. It did not say how the two were injured.

The building suffered a partial collapse, the department wrote.
