Nov. 13, 2017
PPES announces the launch of its new and completely redesigned website that offers insight into the company’s innovative training solutions for public and private industry.

Lincoln University, PA, November 13, 2017 – Personal Protection Equipment Specialists (PPES) has announced the launch of its newly revamped website. The redesigned site offers quick and easy access to complete information on the Guardian Confined Space Simulator, as well as a comprehensive rundown of the specialized training programs the company offers.

This new website has a clean uncluttered design, improved functionality and enhanced content focused on the Company's mission to provide the most life-like disaster training solutions for both the fire service and private industry. The new website went live earlier this week, and is located at the same address: www.PPESGuardian.com. Users will find it to be fully responsive to mobile devices, making it easy to navigate on a wide range of web browsers and portable devices. Additionally, the site can be viewed in any of 10 languages.

“With increased pressure for the fire service and private industry to provide mandatory training for first responders, the need for such a mobile training system has never been greater,” said Tom Quinn, CEO of Personal Protection Equipment Specialists. "We are excited about the launch of our new website and the wealth of information it provides to better understand PPES’s life-saving training solutions."

PPES provides the full scope of life-saving training scenarios and programs that are integrated with the company’s patented mobile safety and survival training simulator, the Guardian. Complete specifications, options and floor plans are included in the new website.

“Our team of professionals is able to provide comprehensive solutions that will contribute to reduced injuries and loss of life for both victims and first responders. Because we can now offer attractive financing solutions, it has never been easier for our customers to implement Guardian-enhanced training programs," added Mr. Quinn.

ABOUT THE GUARDIAN

Inspired by his experiences while providing support services at Ground Zero during the 9/11 rescue efforts, the Guardian was designed and developed by Tom Quinn, President of PPES. Quinn became aware of how severely handicapped first responders were due to the limited training they received at that time.

PPES designed the Guardian to meet New York City standards while fulfilling the needs of FEMA Urban Search & Rescue operations, terrorist task forces, Federal law enforcement, the military, emergency medical service providers and local volunteer firefighters.

The Guardian Safety and Survival Training Simulator can be configured and customized to reflect over 200 rescue scenarios. The unit has the capability to add new training scenarios, as well as custom-designed exercises on an as-needed basis. For first responders, the Guardian® has been praised for being “as real as it gets” with its pitch-black interior, filled with smoke and clogged with debris. Divided into two floors, it re-creates a three-story building with the third story collapsed onto the second, creating a “pancaked” effect.

The numerous options available provide an inordinate level of flexibility to the trainer, making the Guardian® ideal for use in different training environments. For example, those located in earthquake prone areas will find the air pistons option valuable for simulating after-shocks and structural settling. Additional modules allow for window-rescue training, concrete wall breaching, sewer-line escape and many others. All of this is discussed in greater detail on the enhanced website.

“In today’s world, the need for confined-space training is more critical than ever, but even more importantly, it must realistically simulate an actual disaster right down to the most minute details,” says Quinn. “Combined with our training programs, first responders can now get the ongoing training they need to save their own lives and the lives of others.”

More information is available at the PPES website, www.PPESGuardian.com, or by contacting Jay Gundel & Associates at (302) 658-1674. Photos and tours of the Guardian® are available by request.
