A Virginia firefighter was injured while battling a house fire Monday afternoon.
The Norfolk firefighter suffered the minor injuries after responding to the fire just before 5 p.m., WAVY-TV reports. Details about how the firefighter was hurt were not released, but the first responder was breathing and conscious when taken to the hospital.
The two occupants of the house were not injured, and the cause of the blaze is under investigation, according to WAVY.
