A Baltimore County firefighter was hurt battling a two-alarm apartment fire that also injured four residents early Wednesday.
Nearly 100 firefighters responded to the blaze, which broke out before 2:30 a.m. at an apartment complex in Randallstown, WBAL-TV reports. Heavy flames could be seen coming from the building's roof as crews arrived.
While battling the blaze, a firefighter became dehydrated, and two residents were injured after jumping from the apartment's third floor to escape the fire. Baltimore County fire officials told WBAL that none of the injuries were considered life-threatening,
The fire left 50 adults and 23 children displaced, and the investigators are still trying to determine the cause.
