TX Firefighter Hurt Battling 3-Alarm House Blaze

Crews from multiple Texas fire departments battled a three-alarm fire Sunday that sent a firefighter to the hospital.

The blaze broke out at about 7 a.m. at a house in Westlake Hills, KXAN-TV reports. Firefighters from Westlake, Austin, Oak Hill and CE-Bar responded to the call.

An Austin firefighter was taken to the hospital with an unspecified injury. The firefighter was treated and then released, according to KXAN.

The crews eventually were able to get the blaze under control, but firefighters remained at the scene throughout the afternoon to look for hot spots, the TV station added.
