Fatal Mobile Home Fire in Johnson County, Texas

At 12:01 on October 2, 2006 the Alvarado and Keene Fire Departments were dispatched to a structure fire on in the 4900 block of CR 707 in Johnson County, Texas.

At 12:01 on October 2, 2006 the Alvarado and Keene Fire Departments were dispatched to a structure fire on in the 4900 block of CR 707 in Johnson County, Texas. The dispatch was with possible entrapment.

The Alvarado engine was first on the scene with their two man crew. They reported a fully involved structure . The front rooms of a singlewide mobile home were fully engulfed in flames.

The initial attack was made with one firefighter to the front of a home. When Keene firefighters joined a three man crew went to the rear and made forcible entry into the rear. Their search resulted in them locating and removing a female victim. Careflite Ground Ambulance was on scene but could not resuscitate the victim.

The Johnson County Sheriffs Office has an ongoing investigation of suspicious circumstances.
