Detroit Firefighters Contain Dwelling Fire

Detroit, MI – On June 16, companies from the 7th Battalion responded to the area of Oregon and Ironwood on the report of a dwelling fire.Arriving at the scene first, L21 reported the dwelling to be well-involved and said the first Engine would be stretching, and requested the next arriving Engine be prepared to dump their monitor.Central advised companies on this Box that they were dispatching EMS for reports of possible civilians trapped in the dwelling.

Arriving at the scene first, L21 reported the dwelling to be well-involved and said the first Engine would be stretching, and requested the next arriving Engine be prepared to dump their monitor.

Central advised companies on this Box that they were dispatching EMS for reports of possible civilians trapped in the dwelling.

Arriving on the scene, C7 reported that he had a vacant dwelling that had extended to an occupied dwelling and that all of the occupants were safely out, and that Central could cancel EMS.

Crews made a quick knock-down of this fire. E10/34/49 L21 S2 C7 worked at this fire.
