A fast moving fire in a professional medical building under construction goes to three alarms.

The Lake Cities Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire in the 3500 block of Swisher Road around 9:50pm.

Engine 591 arrived on scene and reported heavy fire showing from the front entrance. Within minutes the blaze ran the attic and the Department went into defensive mode.

Under the command of Chief Jason Collier a second alarm was ordered bringing companies from Lewisville, Denton and Highland Village Fire Departments.

A major telephone communications hub presented exposure problems and lack of close hydrants made water supply a challenge early on.

A third alarm was transmitted for relief of initial companies and overhaul bringing in Flower Mound and Carrollton Fire Departments as well as additional Lewisville units.

Lewisville Fire Deparment reserves provided Rehab operations.

No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation by the Denton County Emergency Services - Fire Marshal Division.
