On Sunday October 16, 2005, a call came into Tallahassee Fire Department Dispatch for a residential fire on Delta Way at 6:54 pm.
Engine 2, Truck 2, Engine 1, Engine 101, and Division 1 responded. At 6:59 pm, Truck 2 arrived to find a 2 story duplex exterior fire with extension into the attic.
A rapid attack was initiated, supply line was laid and fire knock down was called in 10 minutes.
An official fire out call was called 10 minutes later.
Fire damage was localized to the exterior originating at a front door and up into the attics of both dwellings.
An extinsive salvage opperation saved the occupants belongings in both side.
The fire is still under investigation at this time.
