Glenview Firefighters responded to 1547 Sunset Ridge Road for a report of a car into a house on fire with someone trapped inside of car.
Glenview Fire dispatchers reported before units where on the scene that police were on scene with a car well involved and that the garage was on fire.
Engine 13 pulled up and rescued the driver from the car and had the fire out before the other units arrived.
Truck 14 assisted with putting the fire out and getting the car out from the garage, then assisted with clearing the smoke filled house.
Northfield Fire Rescue was called to transport 2 police officers with minor injuries to Glenbrook Hospital.
