On August 27th at approx 4 pm the Maybrook and Mechanicstown Fire Departments were alerted for a working Car Fire at mile marker 27.5 on westbound Interstate 84.
Maybrook Command arrived on scene and confirmed a well involved car fire. New York State Troopers immediately closed the westbound lanes while the fire department operated on scene. The road reopened approx 15 minutes later.
