New York Firefighters Respond to Vehicle Accident

On Thursday, May 5th, 2003, the Jonesville Fire Department was dispatched to the intersection of State Route 146 and Waite Road in the town of Clifton Park for a reported two car MVA with unknown injuries.

On Thursday, May 5th, 2003, the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office dispatched the Jonesville Fire Department and Clifton Park/Halfmoon Ambulance to the intersection of State Route 146 and Waite Road in the town of Clifton Park for a reported two car MVA with unknown injuries.

First arriving fire and EMS units found, a two car head on MVA with one male patient trapped in a four door sedan. After the primary patient assessment by CPHM paramedics, it was determined a roof removal was necessary.

The Jonesville Fire Department performed a full roof removal with an extrication time of approximately 27 minutes. The patient appeared to have a possible tib/fib fracture and an ankle fracture with minor facial lacerations.
