The units from 29 and 27 were alerted for an accident at Branch and Auth Rd. just after 0300.

Engine 292 arrived with an accident involving a bus. A car-traveling north on Branch hit the stopped bus at the right rear corner. The car then continued another 500' into a jersey wall.

Squad 27 arrived under the direction of Chief Dave Fuller, stabilized the vehicle and started the extrication. Engine 292 charged an attack line to protect.

The victim was extricated by using the Hurst Spreaders, Cutters, Palliton Tool (combination tool), saw saw, and a medium and large ram.

The driver side had to be taken apart and the dash rolled off of the victim.

Trooper 2 then transported the victim to the Trauma Center.
