On June 7, 2003, the Fort Worth Fire Department responded to a fire in the 500 block of Northeast 36th.

On June 7, 2003, the Fort Worth Fire Department responded to a fire in the 500 block of Northeast 36th. The fire broke out in an abandoned sheep-processing plant.

Upon arrival of the first engine at 21:30, the call quickly went to two alarms, with multiple aerials fighting the blaze.

Ft. Worth spokesman Lt. Ken Worley, listed the fire as suspicious. This is the second fire in two years at the plant.
