New Jersey FFs Respond to Heavy Smoke

  On Wednesday Aug. 25, a building fire was dispatched in Pennsauken at 11:55 A.M. at 3762 Garfield Ave. Command found heavy smoke showing from the second floor of a two-story apartment building. They struck the all hands.Engine 1191 secured a water supply and led off with a 1 3/4" hand line followed by a backup line. Companies reported heavy fire conditions on the second floor. The rtuck company placed ground ladders and opened the roof. Searches were negative.

On Wednesday Aug. 25, a building fire was dispatched in Pennsauken at 11:55 A.M. at 3762 Garfield Ave.

The fire was placed under control with no injuries.

The fire is under investigation by the Pennsauken Fire Department and the Camden County Fire Marshals office.
