New Jersey Firefighters Respond to Working Attic Fire

  At approximately 8:30 on the morning of Tuesday, August 3, 2010 the Oakland Fire Department was dispatched to report of smoke coming from a house at 103 W. Oakland Avenue.The first arriving chief reported a working attic fire. Initial lines were stretched into the building by members of the OFD, and additional companies responded as mutual aid from Wyckoff, Franklin Lakes, Midland Park and Waldwick. A good stop was made by the first arriving members.
