Michigan Firefighters Respond to House Fire

In early February, 2003, the Chesterfield Township Fire Department in Michigan received a call through 911 of a house fire at 17:07.

In early February, 2003, the Chesterfield Township Fire Department in Michigan received a call through 911 of a house fire at 17:07.

The Fire Chief arrived on scene 17:09 reporting a two story single family home fully involved. The area of the fire was in a part of the township where there are no fire hydrants. The Chief called for tankers from the following departments: Lenox Township, New Haven, Ray, and Selfridge Air National Guard Base. Chesterfield Fire Department responded with 2 engines, a Tanker, and a command vehicle.

There was a total of 36 personnel on the scene. The Macomb Township Fire Department filled our station where they responded to two additional alarms, a possible structure fire, and a vehicle leaking gas. The fire was put under control at 18:08 and all units cleared at 20:22.
