JACKSONVILLE- A mid day fire in a downtown Jacksonville apartment building turned into a second alarm with firefighters rescuing six tenants from the flames.
Shortly before noon on Sunday March 20, 2005 units from the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department (JFRD) were dispatched to a report of a fire on the third floor of a three story brick apartment building located at the corner of Broad and Beaver Streets.
