On December 20, 2002, firefighters from Erial Fire Company Station 86 recieved a call for a report of house on fire.

Firefighters from Erial responded within minutes to find a two story house well involved with the sole occupant removed safely.

Crews quickly went to work setting up a defensive attack strategy due to the volume of fire.

Firefighters from Lamb Terrace Station 85, Chews Landing Station 82, Pine Hill Station 62 assisted the Erial Fire Department on the box.

Because the house was situated on a wooded lot, firefighters were concerned with, and handled several spot brush fires.

The house and it's contents were destroyed in the fire. There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters reported.

The fire was under control in approximately 45 minutes from the time the call was recieved.

The cause of the fire was not reported.
