Crash Handled by Oregon Crews

  At 2:46 a.m., Canby firefighters responded to a report of a car crash at 657 N Cedar St.in Canby. Firefighters found an adult male that had crashed his vehicle into a tree. The vehicle suffered significant damage and the victim was trapped inside his vehicle. Rescuers used the Hurst Tool to pry the twisted metal away from the victim so they could treat and remove the injured man. The victim was airlifted by Lifeflight to Emanuel Hospital. Canby Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
