On November 20, 2004 around 0025 hours, the Lawrence, Massachusetts Fire Department responded to a reported building fire at box 5111, for the address 461 Broadway.
Companies arrived to a four story brick building, approximately 100x100 with fire showing from third floor and occupants possibly trapped on the fourth floor.
Three alarms and special calls were required to bring the fire under control. The fire was placed under control around 0500 hours.
Mutual aid responded from multiple towns to the scene and for station coverage.
