Kentucky Firefighters Rescue Family Pet in Residential Blaze

Larue County, Kentucky firefighters responded to a house fire on November 13, 2004. Arriving firefighters found a working structure fire inside a home and a storage shed that was against the home. A family pet was rescued from the working fire and treated by Larue County EMS for minor smoke inhalation.

November 13, 2004 -- Larue County, Kentucky firefighters responded to a house fire on Soencer School Rd. Arriving firefighters found a working structure fire inside a home and a storage shed that was against the home. A family pet was rescued from the working fire and treated by Larue County EMS for minor smoke inhalation.

Mutual aid was requested for additional Tankers and manpower from two neighboring departments. Buffalo Fire Department & Valley Creek Fire Department responded to the scene.

At the height of the fire, ten apparatus and approximately 30 firefighters were on scene.

The investiagtion is ongoing into the cause of the blaze.
