Shortly after 7 am on September 9th the Vails Gate Fire Department, Mobile Life Support Services & Town of New Windsor Police were alerted for a 2 Car Head On MVA on Rt 207 near Toleman Rd.
Responding from another accident Vails Gate E-479 arrived on scene and reported a 2 Car head on with persons pinned in both vehicles and 1 person unresponsive. Mutual Aid was requested from Washingtonville for a Heavy Rescue.
After about a 20 min extrication 1 patient was DOA on scene and 2 were transported by ALS to local hospitals for treatment of serious but non life threatening injuries. The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Town of New Windsor Police.
