New York Crews Fight Fully Involved Structure Fire

Nine departments were on the scene.

Fire struck in the early morning hours of Dec. 21 in Florida, N.Y.

Nine volunteer departments were on the scene, with two departments on standby at other stations.

On the scene were: Town of Florida, Pattersonville, Cranesville, Mariaville, Plotterkill, Glen, Hagaman, Tribes Hill and Fort Hunter. Crews from Glen, Fultonville and Fort Johnson were on standby.

The Montgomery County Fire Coordinators' Office reported one minor injury to a civilian. There were no firefighter injuries.

The fire is under investigation.
