Texas Firefighters Respond to Pickup, 18-Wheeler Wreck

Two people were trapped in their pickup after it collided with a stopped 18-wheeler.

Two people were trapped in their pickup after it collided with a stopped 18-wheeler at the exit ramp of Forest Park and westbound I-30 in Fort Worth.

It took Fort Worth firefighters about an hour and 20 minutes to free them.

The drivers of the pickup and the 18-wheeler escaped injury but the passengers of the pickup were trapped. They were taken to John Peter Smith Hospital with internal injuries, said Lt. Kent Worley of the Fort Worth Fire Department.

Authorities are investigating whether might have been involved.
