Maybrook, New York Firefighters Extricate 1 in I-84 Rollover

On the morning of Friday, July 2, 2004 the Maybrook and Mechanicstown Fire Departments were alerted for a Rollover MVA with Entrapment on I-84 eastbound just east of Exit 5 (Rt 208).

While enroute, units were advised that New York State Police were on the scene, confirming one person pinned.

Mechanicstown Car-2 (Assistant Chief Tim Sabo) arrived and took command.

Maybrook Fire Department placed their Hurst Tool in service and extricated the female driver whose injuries were not life threatening. Also assisting at the scene was Mobile Life Support Services, New York State Police and New York State Thruway Authority.
