Two Extricated in Albany, New York Vehicle Rollover

On Friday, June 25, 2004, at 2:35 PM, the West Albany, New York Fire Department was dispatched for a rollover personal injury auto accident at the intersection of Everett Road and Sand Creek Road.

On Friday, June 25, 2004, at 2:35 PM, the West Albany, New York Fire Department was dispatched for a rollover personal injury auto accident at the intersection of Everett Road and Sand Creek Road.

Initial information was that two occupants were trapped in the vehicle. Rescue Companies from the Fuller Road Fire Department and the Colonie Fire Company were dispatched at that time.

Members of the rescue companies worked together on a roof flap on the Jeep Cherokee vehicle in which the occupants were trapped. Within 20 minutes of arrival, both occupants were extricated and transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital by Colonie EMS for evaluation.

Incident comander was Chief Dan Sullivan of the West Albany Fire Department and Operations officer was Chief Michael Romano Jr. of the Fuller Road Fire Department.
