On Monday, April 12 Powhatan County Engine 2, Amelia Engine 4 and Powhatan Ambulance responded to a vehicle accident with a person trapped on Genito Blvd at Genito Rd. Rescue 2 was out of service for maintenance and Powhatan Rescue Engine 1 was requested to be added to the box. Engine 2 arrived and found a vehicle on its side with one teenager ejected, walking around with minor injuries and the teen driver also ejected and his leg pinned under the car.
Engine 2 arrived and set up chains and rope to stabilize the vehicle and Engine 1 arrived and assisted with cribbing the vehicle. Brush 2 was also added to the box for the winch for additional stabilization of the vehicle. Do to the terrain and the location of the patient
