A two-alarm fire ripped through condominium in Saint Clair Shores on April 21.

At 8:10 a.m. a first alarm assignment consisting of all three of Saint Clair Shores stations and a ladder from Eastpointe were dispatched to the reported fire.

Units arrived to find heavy fire showing from the structure and a second alarm was called bringing units from Fraser, Roseville, Harrison, Clinton Township and Selfridge. Warren Fire Department sent a unit cover cover empty stations.

A strong wing from the lake, coupled with tight streets and a lack of hydrants hampered crews as they worked to contain the fire.

A defensive attack contained the fire.
