Firefighters from six fire departments responded to a house fire in Brookville on June 18.
The East Norwich Fire Department responded to a house fire at 3 Heather Hill Road at 4:00 p.m.
Several neighboring fire departments including Oyster Bay, Roslyn, Glenwood, Locust Valley, and Jericho were called to the scene to assist in bringing the blaze under control.
Considerable damage was sustained, but no injuries occurred to occupants or firefighters.
The cause which did not appear to be suspicious is being investigated by the Nassau County Fire Marshal office.
