Firefighters from multiple fire departments honed their skills during a drill in Spring Valley on July 24.
Fire, EMS and Hazmat crews descended on the Ramapo High School as smoke filled the building and children volunteered to play the part of victims.
Firefighters simulated that an unknown hazardous gas was found on the second floor and a hazmat team was called in.
Some of the deparments involved were Brewer Fire Department, Hillcrest Fire Department, Stony Point Fire Department, New City EMS, Spring Hill EMS and the Rockland County Hazmat team.
