Photo Story: Defensive Attacked Used on N.Y. Blaze

A two-alarm fire burned through a Rochester home early on Nov. 25.

Engine 9 went on location with heavy fire from the attic of a large, 2 1/2-story house.

Battalion 1 assumed command and declared a working fire with heavy fire showing from the attic and reported an exposure problem.

Command requested a second alarm which brought two engines and one truck. 

The fire was placed under control in 50 minutes.
