Around 2 a.m. on July 21, the Royse City Fire Department responded to am Exxon service station for a report of smoke coming from the building.
Within seconds of the fire department's arrival the front windows blew out and the service station erupted into flames.
The Fate Department of Public Safety and the McLendon-Chisholm Fire Department were toned out for mutual aid.
