Photo Story: Three Townhomes Damaged by N.J. Fire

Several fire departments responded to townhome fire in Plainsboro.

Around 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 24, Plainsboro fire crews were dispatched to a fire in an end unit townhouse on Hampshire Drive.

Upon arrival crews encountered heavy smoke and fire on the second floor.

Responding mutual aid companies included Princeton Plasma Physics Lab, Cranbury, Princeton Junction, West Windsor, Kingston, Applegarth, East Windsor No. 1, Kendall Park, Princeton, Monroe, Lawrence and Jamesburg. EMS units included Plainsboro Township EMS, Plainsboro Rescue Squad, East Windsor Rescue Squad and Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad.

Two units sustained heavy damage. A third unit suffered moderate damage.
