Fire engulfed the second floor and attic of the Chester Heights home before firefighters arrived.

Five companies were dispatched to a March 2 house fire in Chester Heights.

Firefighters from Chester Heights (71), Concordville (59), Aston Township (17), Riddle EMS (Medic 104-7D), Crozer EMS (Medic 100A), and Media (RIT 23) were dispatched to a house fire on Wilson Circle around 2 p.m.

Upon the arrival of Engine 71, Truck 17, and Engine 59-2, heavy fire was showing the attic of the 2 1/2-story home.

Multiple hoselines were placed into operation. 

Additional crews from Rocky Run (46) and Bethel Hose Co. (66) were added to the assignment.

The incident was placed under control in about an hour and no injuries were reported.
