Photos: PA Crews Battle Fire at Multi-Family Dwelling

Several fire companies responded to assist Easton City crews as fire ripped through four homes.

Fifteen people were left homeless when a May 11 fire damaged several homes in Easton.

Easton firefighters were dispatched to 1130-1136 Pine Street around 10 a.m. and crews could see a column of smoke while enroute.

Crews encountered heavy fire in the rear of both sides of the twin doubles (four homes total) and also has fire in an unattached garage.

The fire took more than an hour to control and left two firefighter with minor injuries.

Easton City firefighters were assisted crews from Northampton County stations 14, 17, ,24, 27 and Easton EMS. Station 25 provided standby in city stations for other possible responses.
