From the Drawing Board to The Firehouse Expo Exhibit Hall Floor with the Apparatus Architects
Join Apparatus Architects Tom Shand and Mike Wilbur as they tour the exhibit hall floor at Firehouse Expo in Baltimore. The architects stop by all of the fire apparatus booths to see what's available this year. From low hosebeds and cross lays to master streams that can not be easily accessed and erial apparatus with just the minimum amounts of ground ladders to well-positioned outriggers. The design and placement of items throughout the apparatus seemed to be focused on new safety standards including hose covers can cab design.
