Dr. Richard B. Gasaway talks with Charles A. (Chad) Weinstein about ethics in the fire service. Weinstein is president of Ethical Leaders in Action, a Minnesota-based company that provides leadership and strategy development training and consulting.
The two look at the role of ethics in leading public safety agencies, but focus on the fire service. Weinstein works with fire and police agencies in the Midwest to help the officers and firefighters develop a plan to keep all members on the same page.
Listen as Weinstein discusses how fire departments, whether career, paid-on-call or volunteer, can be affected by the smallest actions. That action can have big impact that puts the agency in a negative light.
