Training & Tactics Talk: Setting the Stage

Nov. 24, 2010

Host Douglas K. Cline and Tom LaBelle discuss how making change remains a monumental task for most of the fire service. LaBelle, the exective director of the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs, is a veteran fire officer with the Wynantskill, NY, Fire Department.

The initiation and implementation of change is seldom if ever welcomed with open arms, but the ingredient for success lies in vision-oriented leadership, training, and individual empowerment.

The two will provide a unique insight into the roles and responsibilities of fire service personnel while emphasizing the power of progressive based training and instructional influence.
