Several veteran firefighters and officers from the west coast tackle the issue of high-rise firefighting and how their agencies use the approach from a regional response.

Division Chief Ed Hadfield talks with Battalion Chief Anthony Kastros with the Sacramento Metro, CA, Fire District, Santa Rosa, CA, Captain Wes Kitchel and Seattle Lt. Todd Wernet, about a variety of challenges that departments large and small face during this infrequent incidents. The panelists discuss the importantance of having established both response and tactical plans .

Lt. Wernet looks at the Seattle area's "zone response" which is used for major incidents in the region.
