Bob Duemmel talks with Capt. Todd Fetters about the tactical search component of a Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) team during disaster response. Fetters is a captain with the the City of Hemet, CA, Fire Department and the search team manager for the California USAR Task Force 6 (CA- TF6). 

Fetters provides insight to the various staffing positions that make up the "Search and Reconnaissance" team with a USAR Task Force. The two discuss the various specialized tools that are used, coupled with the training requirements needed to properly operate the specialized equipment.
