This month on Fire Marshal's Corner, host Ed Comeau looks at the residential sprinkler issue, following up on last month's show. Legislation was introduced recently in Texas in a last-minute attachment to a bill that would bar communities from allowing residential sprinkler ordinances or code adoptions. This definitely sneaked in under the radar screen and the fire service in Texas mobilized in response, holding press conferences in both Austin and Plano to draw attention to the bill and ask the governor to veto it.
