Minneapolis, Minn. (April 18, 2011) – EarthClean Corporation, a Minnesota-based company, announced today that Liana Palaikis, PhD has joined the company as Director of Product Development. Palaikis will report to Scott Bocklund, EarthClean President. Prior to joining EarthClean, Palaikis held key product development team and business unit leadership roles at 3M for a diverse range of both consumer and industrial products.

As director of product development, Palaikis is responsible for the research and development of innovative fire suppression technologies, the development of new intellectual property, as well as oversight of manufacturing scale-up.
Palaikis holds a PhD in Chemistry with specialization in Surface Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She enjoys perennial gardening, terriers and dog agility; and she and her husband have a sophomore son in college.
