Shelby, North Carolina- Hurst Jaws of Life announced today an aggressive promotion directed toward Fire and Rescue Departments. The promotion is designed to assist rescue services with acquiring new hydraulic rescue equipment within the constraints of limited budgets.
For as little as the purchase of a new spreader and hose, a department can receive a gas-powered selector valve power unit absolutely free. There are three levels of this promotion that Fire and Rescue Departments can participate in to accommodate the smallest to largest organizations.
"We understand the pressures that rescue services are encountering to update their tools in order to handle new materials entering the vehicle market" said Aaron Guenther, Hurst's V.P of Sales and Marketing. "With reduced budgets, this promotion will help Fire and Rescue Departments purchase new tools, with the added bonus of a new power unit to operate them."
As part of the deal, Hurst tools must be purchased new and accepted by the department from an authorized Hurst Distributor between July 1, 2009 and November 30, 2009.
"This campaign is designed to make upgrading tool sets more financially feasible at this time," explains Bill Simmons, the company's General Manager and V.P of Hydraulics for North America. "Our goal is to make Fire and Rescue Departments more efficient with the tools available today. Some departments are struggling with municipal budget cutbacks and old tool sets. We're trying to reach those departments and assist them in getting newer, stronger rescue tools into their communities."
