The Arata family has been a mainstay in the Bay Area since the 1920’s when the business operated as Arata Motor Sales. In 1953, Arata Equipment Company opened its doors with an emphasis on distributing refuse bodies and other vocational type equipment. Through the years, the company has expanded into other lines that compliment Arata’s successful business model.
