Phenix Technology, Inc. kicks off Responding To Autism 2013 Campaign

April 24, 2013
Phenix Technology, Inc. to work with Autism Society of Indiana and Project Lifesaver Indiana on developing Autism Awareness programs for firefighters and EMS responders.

Riverside, CA April 24, 2013 – Phenix Technology, Inc. believes strongly that firefighters and EMS providers should be well versed in responding to incidents involving patients with Autism. To help build Autism Awareness they are teaming up with the Autism Society of Indiana and the Project Lifesaver Indiana program. Project Lifesaver provides equipment, training, certification, and support to law enforcement, public safety organizations, and community groups throughout the country and nation. It is their intention to dedicate efforts in 2013 towards educating first responders on Autism and also to help raise much needed funding for both organizations to continue their wonderful efforts.

To kickoff this effort, Phenix Technology, Inc. has created a handmade Autism Awareness traditional leather fire helmet. The helmet features hand carved and painted puzzle pieces throughout the shell along with a hand painted custom leather ID shield. This beautiful helmet will travel with Phenix Technology, Inc. staff during its 2013 Trade show schedule and will also make appearances at ASI events in 2013 and 2014. At the conclusion of the 2014 FDIC show, they will donate the helmet to the ASI to use for fundraising efforts. In addition to the helmet, at each trade show documentation designed towards Autism Awareness will be shared.

“We are very excited to have the opportunity to work with ASI and Project Lifesaver and we hope our many customers and fans truly adopt our mission of building Autism Awareness through this year’s Responding to Autism Campaign,” said Shaun Russell, Phenix Technology, Inc. National Sales Manager.

The helmet will make its debut on April 25, 2013 at FDIC in booth 4143. Firefighters and EMS responders are encouraged to stop by to view it and more importantly to learn more about responding to patients with Autism and how you can assist the ASI and Project Lifesaver Indiana.
